Train and Recover in the Same Session
Personal training, ice baths and sauna.
All under one roof in Marylebone – 1 minute from the High Street.
Personal Training
Your pass starts with a free session with an AMP coach. No wandering around the gym floor wondering what to do next. You show up, your coach takes it from there.
Small group, properly coached, adjusted to where you’re at. Whether you’ve trained for years or you’re starting again.
Ice Baths
Then you recover. Ice baths at two different temperatures, right here in the building.
Walk straight off the gym floor and plunge — start where you’re comfortable
Sauna
Sauna and cold, back to back. Moving between the two helps your body lock in the session you just finished.
Contrast therapy at AMP isn’t a wellness add-on – it’s the second half of your training. Your pass includes it.

What’s included
Train. Recover. Then Stay for Coffee.
Your Village Pass runs across festival week, 23rd–27th September. Sessions run every hour: Mon–Fri 6am–8pm, Sat 7am–11am, Sun 8am–11am.
You train in a small group with a coach. No crowds, no waiting for equipment. Just focused, coached work for 50 minutes.
Then you recover. Ice baths and sauna are right here in the building. Walk off the gym floor and straight in.
Then stay for a barista coffee and meet the people who train here. That’s the bit most gyms can’t give you.
Marylebone’s top-rated BOuTiQUE gym
I’ve belonged to a lot of gyms over the years, and AMP is by far the best fitness experience I’ve ever had. The format is brilliant: all the benefits of personal training, but in a small group setting. Every workout is tailored to your level, goals, and any injuries or limitations, so you get individualized coaching while still enjoying the energy/fun of training alongside others.
One of the things I’m most grateful for is how AMP supported me throughout my pregnancy. I trained there right up until the last few days before giving birth, and the coaches thoughtfully adapted every workout so I always felt safe, challenged, and confident. I truly believe staying active there played a huge role in how well I recovered postpartum.
What really makes AMP special, though, is the people. From the moment you walk in, the front-of-house team makes you feel at home (and the post-workout espresso drinks are a pretty amazing bonus!). The coaches (Jess, Flash, Grace, Dan, Tom, etc) are exceptional: knowledgeable, fun, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping every member improve. Somehow they’ve created a community where everyone knows each other, cheers each other on, and celebrates each other’s progress. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like it at a gym before.
Thank you to the entire AMP team for creating such a special place. I can’t recommend it highly enough!!!
The equipment is top-notch, the staff is incredible, and what really sets this place apart is the community. It’s the kind of gym where people actually know your name and cheer each other on. Walking in always feels welcoming, not intimidating.
If you’re looking for a gym that will actually keep you accountable and push you to grow, this is it. Highly recommend.
On top of that, the gym has a really positive and welcoming vibe. It is always clean, never too busy, and easy to train without distractions. There is also a strong sense of community, with friendly people and a motivating atmosphere. A fantastic place to train!
Above all, the people are what make this place extra special. The coaches (Grace, Isabel, Dan, Jonathan, Tom) are so kind, warm, and encouraging, while also knowing exactly how to push and challenge you in the right way. They’re genuinely A+ humans and a joy to be around, which makes showing up consistently both fun and motivating. It’s a rare balance – supportive, yet always pushing you to grow, improve, and be your best – and they get that combination right. We’re incredibly thankful for them and the environment they’ve created, which makes it so easy and genuinely enjoyable/fun to keep coming back multiple times per week.
The front-of-house team (Cara, Natasha, Verity) are equally welcoming and set a warm tone from the moment you walk in. They greet members and serve great coffee from the espresso machine, which is a nice touch before or after a workout. They’re also highly responsive and organized over email, helping everything run seamlessly.
The space itself is beautiful, recently renovated, and exceptionally clean, with great changing rooms and shower facilities. It’s clear a lot of care goes into cleanliness + maintenance. It’s also tucked away on a charming little mew just off the high street, which makes it feel both special and incredibly convenient. Overall, huge credit to the owner, Steve Mellor, and managers (Jess, Steve) for creating and running such a special place. Thank you!
The training format is another standout. It combines the attention and coaching quality of personal training with the energy of a group setting, helping build a strong sense of community. Coaches take the time to refine technique, adjust weights, and guide progression. Before AMP, I wasn’t lifting much and felt intimidated by heavier lifts, but the coaches here give you the confidence and structure to progress safely. I already feel noticeably stronger (and am excited for more progress to come). It’s incredibly motivating and makes you want to keep showing up, especially when you’re surrounded by other members whose strength + progress inspire you as well.
The class schedule is flexible with great variety (including access to additional sessions like Team Training and Pilates, which I’ve recently started and found to be a great complement – thank you to Kelly, Jazz, Verity). Overall, it feels like excellent value for money, especially compared to personal training, and it’s been great that my wife and I can attend together or separately -whatever our schedules allow.
It’s also worth calling out how exceptional they’ve been with my wife, who has trained here throughout her pregnancy. The coaches have been thoughtful and proactive in modifying movements for her, ensuring she feels safe, supported, yet still challenged. It’s made a meaningful difference for her both physically and mentally, and has undoubtedly been an important part of her smooth and positive pregnancy experience. I’ve seen the same level of care extended to many other members, whether due to injury, age, or experience level.
Beyond the workouts, the community is something special. There’s a genuinely inclusive, friendly mix of people of all ages + backgrounds, and it’s easy to meet others. I’ve had the chance to meet and connect with some really great people.
Overall, AMP delivers an exceptional level of coaching, community, and overall experience. It’s rare to find a place that gets so many things right. We genuinely can’t imagine our routine without it and feel lucky to have found it so early in our time in London!
Amp is not your typical gym. It’s a place where you don’t get bored, and more importantly, you never feel like quitting. It’s hands down the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. What makes it special is the combination of its setup, the incredible coaches, and the relaxed, informal atmosphere. Before you know it, it feels like a second family.
Even as a certified Health Coach, I still need someone to coach and push me—and Amp is exactly why I’m able to show up as a better version of myself for my own clients. I truly can’t recommend it enough.
The instructors are outstanding. They take the time to understand you as an individual, tailoring their approach to your needs rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all session. You feel supported, challenged, and properly coached every time.
It’s not just a gym – it’s a place where you feel part of something, and that’s what keeps me returning. In fact, it’s been such a positive influence on my routine and lifestyle that it was one of the reasons I chose to move to Marylebone!
Highly recommended.
