Train and Recover in the Same Session
Personal training, ice baths and sauna.
All under one roof in Marylebone.
Personal Training
No wandering around the gym floor wondering what to do next. Every session at AMP is coached. You show up, your coach takes it from there.
Your programme is built around you and your goals. Your coach keeps you accountable, keeps you motivated and keeps you progressing.
Ice Baths
Recover faster and come back stronger for your next session.
With ice baths at different temperatures, right here in the building, you walk straight off the gym floor and plunge
Sauna
Get more from the work you’ve already done. Moving between cold and heat helps your body lock in the session you just finished.
Contrast therapy at AMP isn’t a wellness add-on – it’s the second half of your training. You’ll feel the difference next time you’re on the gym floor.

One Session.
Everything Done.
Book your session. Show up. Your coach is ready and your programme is waiting.
You train in a small group. No crowds. No waiting for equipment. Just focused, coached work for 50 minutes.
Then you recover. Ice baths and a sauna are right here in the building. Walk off the gym floor and straight in. Training and recovery in one visit.
You’re in and out with more done in a single session than most people manage in a week of gym visits.
Marylebone’s top-rated BOuTiQUE gym
On top of that, the gym has a really positive and welcoming vibe. It is always clean, never too busy, and easy to train without distractions. There is also a strong sense of community, with friendly people and a motivating atmosphere. A fantastic place to train!
Above all, the people are what make this place extra special. The coaches (Grace, Isabel, Dan, Jonathan, Tom) are so kind, warm, and encouraging, while also knowing exactly how to push and challenge you in the right way. They’re genuinely A+ humans and a joy to be around, which makes showing up consistently both fun and motivating. It’s a rare balance – supportive, yet always pushing you to grow, improve, and be your best – and they get that combination right. We’re incredibly thankful for them and the environment they’ve created, which makes it so easy and genuinely enjoyable/fun to keep coming back multiple times per week.
The front-of-house team (Cara, Natasha, Verity) are equally welcoming and set a warm tone from the moment you walk in. They greet members and serve great coffee from the espresso machine, which is a nice touch before or after a workout. They’re also highly responsive and organized over email, helping everything run seamlessly.
The space itself is beautiful, recently renovated, and exceptionally clean, with great changing rooms and shower facilities. It’s clear a lot of care goes into cleanliness + maintenance. It’s also tucked away on a charming little mew just off the high street, which makes it feel both special and incredibly convenient. Overall, huge credit to the owner, Steve Mellor, and managers (Jess, Steve) for creating and running such a special place. Thank you!
The training format is another standout. It combines the attention and coaching quality of personal training with the energy of a group setting, helping build a strong sense of community. Coaches take the time to refine technique, adjust weights, and guide progression. Before AMP, I wasn’t lifting much and felt intimidated by heavier lifts, but the coaches here give you the confidence and structure to progress safely. I already feel noticeably stronger (and am excited for more progress to come). It’s incredibly motivating and makes you want to keep showing up, especially when you’re surrounded by other members whose strength + progress inspire you as well.
The class schedule is flexible with great variety (including access to additional sessions like Team Training and Pilates, which I’ve recently started and found to be a great complement – thank you to Kelly, Jazz, Verity). Overall, it feels like excellent value for money, especially compared to personal training, and it’s been great that my wife and I can attend together or separately -whatever our schedules allow.
It’s also worth calling out how exceptional they’ve been with my wife, who has trained here throughout her pregnancy. The coaches have been thoughtful and proactive in modifying movements for her, ensuring she feels safe, supported, yet still challenged. It’s made a meaningful difference for her both physically and mentally, and has undoubtedly been an important part of her smooth and positive pregnancy experience. I’ve seen the same level of care extended to many other members, whether due to injury, age, or experience level.
Beyond the workouts, the community is something special. There’s a genuinely inclusive, friendly mix of people of all ages + backgrounds, and it’s easy to meet others. I’ve had the chance to meet and connect with some really great people.
Overall, AMP delivers an exceptional level of coaching, community, and overall experience. It’s rare to find a place that gets so many things right. We genuinely can’t imagine our routine without it and feel lucky to have found it so early in our time in London!
Amp is not your typical gym. It’s a place where you don’t get bored, and more importantly, you never feel like quitting. It’s hands down the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. What makes it special is the combination of its setup, the incredible coaches, and the relaxed, informal atmosphere. Before you know it, it feels like a second family.
Even as a certified Health Coach, I still need someone to coach and push me—and Amp is exactly why I’m able to show up as a better version of myself for my own clients. I truly can’t recommend it enough.
The instructors are outstanding. They take the time to understand you as an individual, tailoring their approach to your needs rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all session. You feel supported, challenged, and properly coached every time.
It’s not just a gym – it’s a place where you feel part of something, and that’s what keeps me returning. In fact, it’s been such a positive influence on my routine and lifestyle that it was one of the reasons I chose to move to Marylebone!
Highly recommended.
The coaches are brilliant, striking the perfect balance between support and challenge. The reception team is always warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is friendly, the equipment is excellent, and the space is spotless. Highly recommend! 💪🔥
The other members are friendly and it’s nice to see familiar faces around during the week. The gym is clean and has nice changing facilities with lovely products and towels. I’d really recommend AMP!

Questions We Get Asked…
What does the membership include?
Everything you need to train and recover in one place. Your membership covers personal training, fitness classes, recovery classes and full access to the contrast therapy suite, including ice baths and sauna.
One membership. No add-ons. There’s even complimentary coffee whenever you’re in.
How much is the membership?
We have a range of memberships depending on how often you want to train. A typical member does around eight personal training sessions a month, drops into a class a week and uses the contrast therapy suite once or twice a week.
That works out at around £20 per visit for coached personal training, classes and contrast therapy combined. Registered your interest and we’ll talk you through which membership fits how you want to train.
Are memberships limited?
Yes. AMP is a boutique gym, not a high street chain. There’s plenty of space and it never feels crowded because we keep numbers low on purpose.
Personal training sessions are capped at six people, so there’s a limit to how many members we can take on before the quality of coaching drops.
We’d rather have a waiting list than a crowded gym floor. If spaces are available, we’ll let you know when you get in touch.
What if i’m completely new to fitness?
That’s fantastic! We love welcoming beginners.
Whether fitness wasn’t your thing in the past or you’re starting fresh, Ignite is all about guiding you every step of the way.
It doesn’t matter where you’re starting from-what matters is that you’re starting.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
Once you join, it’s just 60 days’ notice if you decide to leave. If you’d like to try AMP before committing, you can buy a week’s trial pass.
How long are the sessions?
Our Small-Group Personal Training sessions are 50 minutes, while group classes last 45 minutes.
Each session is quick, effective, and designed to fit around your busy schedule.
How does personal training work at AMP?
You book sessions through our dedicated app. Sessions run from 6am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 6am to 11am on weekends. Every session is coached in small groups of no more than six people.
Most members do two to three personal training sessions a week and add as many classes as they like on top.
